Parminder worked in FMCG for 7 years before attending business school, subsequently founding the firm in 2011.
The first investments the firm made were on a deal-by-deal basis, and these included Metropolis London, a music studio, production, publishing and agency business.
Subsequent investments included Round World Entertainment, the holding company of 10Ten Talent, the football and talent management business, and Iconic Images, the owner of the photographic archive of Terry O’Neill
In 2014, the firm (previously named Velos Partners EMEA LLP) closed a $40m Fund I, which was anchored by Eduardo Saverin, the co-founder of Facebook. The firm has offices in London, Los Angeles and Singapore, with the objective of helping portfolio companies grow across the US and Asia-Pacific.
In 2018, the European team achieved a first close of Fund II, backed by institutional investors and high net worth individuals, to focus on growth companies in the consumer and media sectors in the U.K.
Parminder attended Rutgers University in New Jersey and has a BA in Management Studies from the University of Leeds. He also holds an MBA from London Business School.
