Harry was leading the operations team of LCatterton in Asia and was responsible for the investment teams in Australia/New Zealand and Europe from 2016 to 2020. Furthermore, Harry was spearheading all ecommerce and digital transformation efforts across LCatterton’s Asia portfolio. He was involved in sourcing as well in the due diligence of consumer technology investments across the region.

Before he joined LCatterton, Harry was the Co-Founder and CEO of Zalora Group (Zalora.com and The Iconic), the largest ecommerce fashion platform in South-East-Asia and Australia/NZ. Under Harry’s leadership, Zalora reached net revenues of U$250m after four years of operations. The company employed more than 2,000 FTEs and was active in 10 countries. Zalora was successfully sold for U$750m in 2016.

After two years in investment banking in Frankfurt from 1999 to 2002, Harry started his professional career with McKinsey & Company and spent from 2002 to 2008 in the German Office. He was serving clients in Europe, the US, and Middle East in various sectors, i.e. Telecom, Media, Technology, Automotive, Private Equity and Consumer/Retail. In 2008 he transitioned to McKinsey’s Singapore Office, where he was mainly focused on serving clients in the Technology, Consumer and in the Private Equity sector. Harry was a core member of the Corporate Finance Practice and was one of the main contributing authors of McKinsey’s valuation book “Valuation: Measuring and Managing the Value of Companies”. He left McKinsey in 2012 as a Junior Partner.

Harry holds an MBA from the University in Nuremburg, Germany.
